This week’s theme for Illustration Friday is Resolve. It wasn’t until yesterday that an image appeared in my mind to illustrate. Last year (or the year before) I decided to stop making New Year’s Resolutions for my own reasons. As long as I live my life by being the best I can be DAILY, then a New Year’s resolution, to me, seems pointless.
However, I do want to remind myself daily, these words: I CAN. I want to give thanks daily. I want to let the wisdom that I’ve learned from the past year really benefit me this year. I know I CAN make my life better in all areas. This little treasure box represents my future. So, if I have to use the word, “resolution” then I “resolve” to make 2009 AMAZING. (And I, of course, wish the same for you!)
